The Story in 15 Seconds

  • Lisa got her very first lead from her Halo site.
  • The lead actually picked up the phone.
  • Right now, she thinks she needs to rent.
  • Lisa's walking her through getting pre-qualified instead.
  • It's early, but Lisa is thrilled just to have the conversation started.

After 26 years in real estate, Lisa Nickel has built her business the traditional way: referrals, past clients, a reputation earned one relationship at a time. None of that prepared her for what showed up today, a total stranger, reaching out from a channel she'd never used before. It's just one lead. For someone with her track record, that's exactly why it matters. It's proof a brand new pipeline actually works, built with Halo.

A First, After 26 Years

Lisa's seen a lot in her career. Referrals, open house walk-ins, past clients coming back around. What she hadn't seen until today was a lead that came directly from her Halo site.

She didn't try to downplay how it felt.

"I got my first Halo lead today, and I just wanted to say that was super exciting. I love it."
— Lisa Nickel

She Actually Picked Up the Phone

A lead coming in is one thing. A lead who actually answers when you call is another.

Lisa dialed, and the person on the other end picked up. That's the part that turns a name in an inbox into an actual conversation, and it's not something every lead gives you the chance to do.

Why This Was Even Possible

A stranger doesn't usually pick up the phone for someone they've never heard of. Lisa's Halo site is what made that first step feel safe enough to take.

The site had already done the work before Lisa ever dialed, presenting her as a real, credible person to reach out to, not a stranger cold-calling with a pitch. By the time she called, the lead already knew who Lisa was and what she did. That's the part that actually changed the odds of the call going anywhere at all.

The Plan: Get Her Pre-Qualified

The lead currently thinks renting is her best option. Rather than argue that on the spot, Lisa's next step is practical: get her pre-qualified.

Once someone knows what they'd actually qualify for, renting versus buying stops being a guess and starts being a real comparison. That's the conversation Lisa's setting up to have.

Twenty-Six Years of Practice for Moments Like This

Lisa's approach to every new relationship starts with a simple set of questions: why are you considering this move, what gets better if you do, what's holding you back, and how can she help you get there. That's the same framework she's about to use with this lead.

She's also lived through the kind of transition she's asking about. Lisa and her husband Tim are empty nesters now, working through their own version of what's next. Walking someone through a life decision isn't theoretical for her, it's something she's doing in her own life at the same time.

Ready to Win With Halo?

Lisa didn't need a big campaign for this. One lead, one phone call, and a real conversation started.

Every Tuesday, we walk agents through exactly how Halo turns a site into the kind of first lead that's actually worth getting excited about.

Come see how it works, live this Tuesday.
