It's Exhausting Doing All the Marketing

1 min read

As a real estate agent myself, I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that I also had to be a full marketing agency, a full consulting agency, a psychologist, a marriage counselor, a negotiator…
— Eric Post, founder of Huzi.ai

Agents are expected to run their own marketing agency, and that job keeps getting harder. The internet is noisier, social media is more confusing, and attention spans are shorter.

However, you don't have to do everything. Marketing comes down to three jobs.

1 Get found People can find you when they search
2 Get known Your voice is clear and people know who you help
3 Get chosen They pick you over other agents

Every new app and trend says you need it. If it doesn't help with one of the three, it's just noise.

Bonus Tip

Before your next marketing task, ask three questions.

1. Will this help people find me?

2. Will this make my voice clearer?

3. Will this help someone choose me?

Three no's? Skip it and take the time back.

If you'd rather hand the work off, Halo does that. Text it what you need, like a website, a blog post or a listing video, and it makes it while you get on with your day.

Either way, you were never meant to be a whole marketing agency. Try the three questions on one task this week. Curious what handing off the rest looks like? There's a live session for that.
