Your Website Should Be Your Marketing Hub

1 min read

You have to have an online thing that you own. It can't be your Facebook page, because you don't own that.
— Eric Post, founder of Huzi.ai

Your marketing needs one hub you own, and that hub is your personal website. Your posts, emails and texts should all start from it.

Social media can't play that role, though, since an Instagram account can be taken down at any moment.

A hub only works if it's clear about who you are and who you help.

Bonus Tip

Before you build your site, answer these four questions.

1. Why are you in this business?

2. What makes you different from other agents?

3. What problems do your clients have?

4. Who is your ideal client?

Stuck on question two? Start there.

If you'd like a hand with this, Halo can help. Fill out a short form about your business and it builds the site. Later, when a seller asks you a good question, text it over and Halo turns it into a post on your site.

Either way, before your next post, ask where it sends people. If the answer is nowhere you own, fix that first. Wondering what building that hub looks like? There's a live session for that.
